Laguna has a bit of nostalgia for our founder as this was where he actually learned to surf as a child so we decided to set the tone for the city in surf instruction. The beaches here have a more mediterranean vibe to them as there are hidden rocky coves that make you feel like you are in a different country. The scene is surreal as you have the bustling crowds of downtown, but take a few turns and you can be at a quiet section of beach you have all to yourself.

The waves in Laguna are great for all ability levels, but we feel there is only one place you want to learn at due to safety reasons. Thalia Street is the best option for lessons because of its consistency with waves and sand. Most of Laguna is very rocky and has large amounts of reef that can be quite challenging to surf for beginners.

Our spot gets a lot of sand to cover these rocks and this creates a great wave and quite simply is the only option to surf. But have no fear our pro instructors have years of training, experience, and thousands of surf lessons under their belt. We make sure you are properly briefed in ocean safety before you even touch the water.
